Beyond The 5-Block Radius

LaShunda Leslie-Smith is the Executive Director of Connected Communities, a group dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through antiracist community revitalization and equitable resource coordination in the EMMA and Beechwood neighborhoods. She is a member of the Rochester Education Fellowship Selection Committee and spoke to us about what students need from a better education system and the need for a leader to disrupt the current system.
